⁉️Trade Troubleshooting

How come my transaction won't go through?

PBEX, a DEFI platform interacts with the wallet to complete on-chain transactions for swapping, creating LPs, staking in farms and pools, etc.

Gas Fees

First off, ensure that you have enough BNB to pay for the gas fee charges for on-chain transactions. The gas fee usually fluctuates depending on the number of transactions in the queue, if there are more transactions, a higher gas fee may be required to push through the transaction. On BNB Smart Chain, the gas fee typically ranges from cents to a dollar USD in BNB. Learn more about gas fees here.

Transaction Fees

If the swapping action still fails and it is displaying an error for you to revise the slippage, check if the tokens you are trying to swap have any fees and restrictions on transactions.

On Binance Smart Chain, it's common for tokens to include a fee in their contracts, which may be used for purposes like burning tokens or funding a project's treasury. These fees, whether they're inclusive (where a portion of the swap amount is sent elsewhere, resulting in a lower output than expected for the estimated input) or exclusive (where an additional transfer from your address is required to send extra tokens, resulting in a higher input than expected for the estimated output), can affect the input and output amounts you agree to when signing the transaction. In many cases, the transaction cannot meet the input and output requirements because of these fees.

Swapping with Transaction Fees

Make sure to visit the token's website before initiating any swap and check if they have a transaction fee mechanism or tax in place. If such a mechanism exists, ensure that you set a slippage that can accommodate the fee. For instance, if the transaction fee is 5%, your slippage should be set to at least 5% plus the standard trading slippage, which will vary based on the token's liquidity and the amount you're trading. A good range to consider is 5.5% to 6%.
